19/05/2014 - RCN Indemnity Scheme

The Royal College of Nursing are making changes to their indemnity scheme. This will affect aesthetic practices, including skin camouflage.
Because we only train professionals, we immediately requested they reconsider for BASC graduates; their response is below;

"Having discussed your case with colleagues in the Nursing team they are in agreement with you that skin camouflage should not be classified under aesthetic practice. However, given the changes to the indemnity scheme coming into effect in July we feel it might still be helpful to signpost participants to the RCN website for the current position on RCN indemnity."
