15/10/2014 - School Photo Consent Form

A BASC Trustee has informed us that her grandchild's primary school's photographer's consent form asked if the parent wanted any "airbrushing" done to the photograph. We have highlighted this comment to Changing Faces and the Skin Camouflage Network, who were unaware and thank us for bringing it to their attention. They are joining us in challenging this disturbing trend, but to enable us to understand how widespread this may be, we would be interested to know if you have encountered such a statement on a school photograph consent form, and was this aimed at primary or secondary aged children?.
