Due to the C-19 pandemic skin camouflage practitioners have suspended their clinic consultations. It is impossible to achieve a skin matching service by zoom or other social media platforms. It is anticipated that clinics will not resume until their Risk Assessment Department agrees that safeguarding protocols are in place. We are unable to offer any advice as to which BASC Graduates within the NHS or freelance have restarted their skin camouflage service.
“Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being
and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity”.

The British Association of Skin Camouflage (BASC) is the charity which promotes applying specialised products to reproduce skin colour. Camouflage should not be used over undiagnosed skin conditions. It is not a medicine; the structure and skin condition will remain the same – but the camouflage result may help people to regain their self-esteem and confidence. People should stop using camouflage if there is a change to their skin condition, including moles, and seek further medical diagnosis.
